Back then it was the grape gathering farm of the Passauer monastery of St. Nicolas. Here – in line with the tradition of the middle ages – before the wine gathering holy masses were celebrated. Today the Passauerhof in Grinzing is famous far beyond the borders of Vienna for its charming garden, rustic arches and the traditional Heurigen Parlour.
